How knowing the signs of a stroke saved one Payson man's life

A man was test driving a car when the salesman noticed signs of a stroke. He was flown to St. Mark's Hospital for comprehensive care.

When Charles Cranney went in to test drive a vehicle at Payson's Robert Marsh Car & Truck Sales, he never would have expected he'd end up in the Emergency Room at our sister facility, Mountain View Hospital, then flown here to St. Mark's Hospital via A Charles was seen by a stroke specialist via our telehealth capabilities, treated with a clot-busting medication, and later, underwent surgery and comprehensive stroke care here at St. Mark's. Charles has made a full recovery. But, thanks to his car salesman, Steven Holdaway, who noticed Charles' stroke symptoms... his life was saved.

Charles was seen by a stroke specialist via our telehealth capabilities, treated with a clot-busting medication, and later, underwent surgery and comprehensive stroke care here at St. Mark's. Charles has made a full recovery.
