Description
**Childbirth series and Natural Childbirth series are rotated. Both series cover the same topics but Natural childbirth is one additional week with more coping and comfort measures covered. This class is still appropriate if you plan to have a medicated birth.**
**Do not register for breastfeeding or a hospital tour. Both are included in this series.**
This six-week natural childbirth preparation class includes the following topics: pregnancy, labor & delivery, Cesarean birth, comfort measures, labor coping skills, postpartum and much more. This class covers all the material in the standard childbirth class, plus it includes extra emphasis on natural childbirth techniques for women who plan for an unmedicated birth. The sixth week is a night dedicated to learning what you need to know to help you and baby be successful with breastfeeding, so there is no need to enroll in a separate breastfeeding class. This class is intended for the expectant mother and birth partner to attend together. We keep our classes small for your benefit, so be sure to register early.
