Payson, UT –  Mountain View Hospital proudly announces its achievement as a five-star recipient for Outpatient Knee Replacement 2024, according to recent research released by Healthgrades, the leading resource consumers use to find a hospital or doctor. This recognition reflects the hospital's unwavering commitment to clinical excellence, placing Mountain View Hospital in the upper echelon of
U.S. hospitals for outpatient orthopedics.

"I am proud to affirm that Mountain View Hospital stands at the forefront of orthopedics, showcasing an unwavering commitment to excellence. Our consistent delivery of superior outcomes in various orthopedic procedures reflects the high standard of care that defines Mountain View Hospital. Patients can trust that their journey to wellness is in the hands of a hospital team that consistently achieves top- tier performance in orthopedic care," said Laura Malaise, Chief Nursing Officer.

To identify the top-rated hospitals for outpatient orthopedics, Healthgrades analyzed patient outcomes at short-term acute care facilities nationwide that offer critical outpatient orthopedic procedures in an outpatient environment. Healthgrades’ analysis found that patients treated at hospitals that were rated five-stars for outpatient orthopedics have a demonstrably better chance at a smooth recovery than those treated at hospitals that were not recognized by Healthgrades. In fact, between 2020 and 2022, patients having knee replacement at five-star rated hospitals have, on average, a 69.5% lower risk of experiencing a complication while in the hospital than patients treated at one-star hospitals.*
