Born and raised in North Ogden, UT. Fellowship trained in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Proficient in laparoscopy and robotic surgery. My primary practice focus is multi-disciplinary surgical excision of simple and complex endometriosis. I have been performing advanced surgical excision of endometriosis since 2005 and am a nation-wide and world-wide referral source. I understand that endometriosis is very complex and difficult. It is also a very individual disease. Each patient has their own difficulties, concerns, and goals.

With this in mind, my role is to listen, gather information through exam and dynamic ultrasound imaging. I can then use that information to better educate and inform each patient.

Once the patient has an understanding of the possible diagnosis, I present all options for management. This typically falls into three categories: observation, symptom control or palliation, and surgical management primarily through a focus on excision or removal of the diseased areas.

With more complete knowledge, patients are then able to make a personal, truly informed decision regarding management and treatment. I focus on patient autonomy rather than telling patients what they need to do.
