"Dr. Chelu was born in Albania and after high school, moved to Romania, where she earned her medical degree at Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, the oldest medical education institution in Transylvania.
She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She was in private practice for 4 years in Houston, prior to making Salt Lake City her home.
